“My father is an innocent man. He doesn’t commit any crime. I feel so sad as he is being detained by the Burmese authority without any valid reason. He has been taking care of us with his own daily works. I suffered a lot as he is being detained. We have no other one to rely on in the family. I’ve no sibling brothers and sisters except him. He is the only one to rely in the family.” Phru Yae, daughter of U Maung Sein Oo who was illegally detained by the Myanmar Military (Tatmataw) since 12 January, 2019 and being charged with article 17(1) (2) of the Unlawful Association Act at Rathedaung township court.
